CrossFit Timer for AMRAP

CrossFit demands specific timing for many routines and WOD’s (workout of the day). The Gymboss is a perfect CrossFit timer for most CrossFit routines. It’s easy to set, is hands free, and allows you to monitor your progress throughout your workout. The loud beep and the vibrate alarm is perfect for any environment indoors or out.

As a CrossFit timer it will function as a:

  • Interval timer
  • Countdown timer
  • Stopwatch

Here is how to use your Gymboss Timer for Crossfit AMRAP workouts:

AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) for 20 minutes – This standard Crossfit routine is simple for a Gymboss and needs no “monitoring”. Simply clip to your waist and the beep or vibrate will indicate when your 20 minutes has elapsed. Using a Gymboss as your Crossfit timer prevents you from having to continuously check a stopwatch to know when your 20 minutes is up.

AMRAP Set a Target Goal  - Maybe you want to set a goal to complete a round every 5 minutes. To accomplish this, set the Gymboss for a 5 min interval for 4 rounds. This will give you a notification every 5 minutes prompting you to stay on track to reach your goal of completing 4 rounds in 20 minutes.

Use the above examples to learn how to set up your timer, and then simply modify the times to your desired workout.
